METAL VIBES

Metals, with their infinite variations of three-dimensional textures, surprising finishes and shimmering hues, have been turned into site-specific surfaces, unique products and special editions, synthesising the style of De Castelli and embodying the potential that has made the company an international reference point for architects, designers and professionals. The star of this year’s Supersalone will be Metal Vibes, a large sculptural wall with an organic shape, created by a multitude of rounded copper discs with different finishes and oxidation effects, which create an all-over 3-D texture. The flowing movement of the Wave bench by Lanzavecchia+Wai completes the exhibition space: made of full-thickness untreated copper, the sinuous micro-architecture structure has been designed to accompany new, mindful movements in the entry ritual.
